My studio? Four white walls, warm lighting, dusted filled air, the low humming sound of the hood all this at times drove me crazy! Now do not get my wrong the access I have to a studio space is invaluable. However, spending hours upon hours in a studio never truly inspired me, and who would it inspire honestly? The bulk of my work is done not in this place described previously, but outside in nature. I pack a bag full of clay, plaster, and my camera. I take a couple of buckets and I set off on a hike, or as you see here a trip down the river. Stopping along the way to take photographs and grab sculptural details.
